Information Technology
The faculty's information technology infrastructure supports its teaching, research and student IT needs and its administration and management needs. This infrastructure extends to all locations of the faculty in Melbourne and in rural sites in Victoria.
Staff computing support
Staff computer support in the faculty is the responsibility of department and cluster IT officers.
The faculty has three major IT Clusters
BMSIT provides workstation installation and maintenance for deaprtments in the Biomedical Sciences Cluster and central faculty staff workstations.
SGSIT provides IT support for the following areas: Schools of Population Health, Physiotherapy, Nursing and Social Work; Department of Otolaryngology, The Nossal Institute for Global Health, Australian International Health Institute and the Faculty International Unit.
RMHIT provides IT support for the following areas: Psychiatry, Medicine, Surgery, Radiology and Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
