Biomedical Sciences Academic Centre IT (BSAC-IT)

iomedical Sciences Academic Centre IT was formed in 2008. We provide support to the areas listed below. Support services are described in our service level agreement. We provide desktop, infrastructure and research support services.

BSAC-IT support services in the following areas:

  • Anatomy and Neuroscience
  • Biomedical Sciences
  • Microbiology and Immunology
  • Physiology
  • Pathology
  • Pharmacology
  • Centre for Neuroscience
  • Faculty Administration units
  • The School of Medicine including the Medical Education Unit
  • Problem Based Learning (PBL) computers
  • W313 Shared teaching lab

We can also give general advice to other faculty areas but local IT support is only provided to the listed areas.

Student computing labs

BSAC-IT maintains the faculty student workstations available to all the faculty's schools. These facilities include the problem-based learning (PBL) rooms.
